Slide 1

On 3 December 2025, at 7:00 pm, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Beijing hosted the talk Loops. An Interdisciplinary Research by Luca Pozzi, as part of the residency project “Developments in the Contemporary for the Italian Embassy and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Beijing”.

The event was an opportunity to explore Pozzi’s research, marked by a dialogue between contemporary art, science, technology and philosophy. Through Loops, the artist presented an interdisciplinary path that connects different languages and fields of knowledge, addressing themes related to space, time and perception.

Loops is also the title of a publishing project created by Luca Pozzi together with the illustrator Elisa Macellari, born from a dialogue with the physicist Carlo Rovelli. Through the language of visual storytelling, the book tackles themes related to the origins of science, the nature of time and contemporary theories of the universe, turning complex scientific questions into an accessible and evocative narrative.

The talk was part of the residency programme as a moment of exchange and sharing with the public, strengthening the dialogue between contemporary Italian artistic research and the international cultural context.
