Centre for Cultural Project Development for International Cooperation
Associazione NUOVA ARTEMAREA ETS
We bring ideas, cultures and institutions into dialogue.
Research is the starting point,
cultural diplomacy the method,
international cooperation the outcome.
Founded in Bologna in 2023, Nuova Artemarea ETS is a cultural association registered with RUNTS as a legal entity, promoting artistic and cultural initiatives with a broad vision, both nationally and internationally.
The association is committed to promoting cultural, historical and environmental heritage, with particular attention to sustainable development and intercultural dialogue, from a perspective of cultural diplomacy. It works in collaboration with public and private bodies, universities, museums, institutions and a network of professionals, both in Italy and abroad, organising cultural, scientific, artistic and social activities.
Nuova Artemarea ETS funds its activities through membership fees, donations, sponsorships, contributions and other resources permitted under applicable law and its Bylaws, allocating its resources to the pursuit of its statutory purposes, the implementation of its projects and the activities necessary for their development, including professional collaborations required for their implementation.
It has its registered and administrative office in Bologna, where it carries out its research activities; an operational office in Rome, dedicated to project coordination and institutional relations; and an international desk in Beijing, at the Fondazione Italia Cina Art Center. It is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by Guicciardo Sassoli de’ Bianchi Strozzi.

The Association conceives and coordinates research, exhibition and publishing projects together with museum, academic and diplomatic institutions in Italy and abroad. Its Board of Directors is made up of a team of professionals from the cultural sector, including directors, curators, researchers, project managers, registrars, editors and media promoters, supported by an internal administrative and legal office, and united by the conviction that art is a means of dialogue between cultures and between Italy and the world.
