On 20 February 2024, at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art in London, Guicciardo Sassoli de’ Bianchi Strozzi took part in the symposium Futurism in Progress with a talk on the relationship between Futurism, the perception of antiquity and artistic innovation in the context of the celebrations for the centenaries of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Dante Alighieri between 1919 and 1921.
The talk is part of a research path devoted to Italian artistic culture of the early twentieth century and to the dialogue between tradition and modernity.
